How to Trigger the Free Spins Bonus
Three TNT Scatter symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 activate the feature. The Scatters must land together on a single spin, and they pay no line win on their own. The round awards 10 free spins. It uses the same stake and paylines as the spin that triggered it, so the stake you set before the trigger also sets the value of every bonus spin.
What Happens During Free Spins?
Lower-value card symbols A, K, Q and J are removed from the reels for the whole round. Wild, mine cart, sack of gold, lantern and pickaxe symbols remain, so only the higher-paying winning symbols can form line wins. The paylines themselves do not change. The change applies from the first free spin to the last.
How to Get Additional Free Spins
Retriggers are possible: extra TNT Scatter symbols that land during the round add 10 more free spins each time. This means the round can be extended, but the number of extra spins depends on how often Scatters land, which is not a fixed or guaranteed pattern. The Free Spins feature cannot start on the same spin as the Gold Respin.
Free Spins vs Regular Spins
| Feature | Regular spins | Free Spins |
|---|---|---|
| Start | Each spin you place | Three TNT Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 |
| Length | One spin | 10 spins, plus 10 per extra Scatter |
| Symbols | Full set, including A, K, Q and J | Card symbols A, K, Q and J removed |
| Stake | Chosen before each spin | Same as the triggering spin |
| Purchase | Not applicable | Bonus Buy is separate, at 50× stake |
Regular spins are single results on the paylines. Free Spins are a fixed round with a narrower symbol set. Neither format guarantees a larger payout, because each spin still depends on the symbols that land.
What Should Players Know About This Feature?
Gold rush with johnny cash free spins are a natural game feature, not a purchase. Bonus Buy offers the same round for a fixed price of 50 times the stake. That option is separate and is covered on the Bonus Buy page of this site.
The gold rush with johnny cash bonus is worth understanding before you play. Its value depends on the stake and the symbols that land, and results vary widely from session to session. These bonus mechanics do not guarantee a larger payout.
The gold rush with johnny cash demo is a practical way to see the feature. Demo play uses virtual credits and includes the free spins bonus, so you can observe the Scatter trigger, the symbol removal and retriggers before playing for real money.
